Venture Capital
Joined as one of the original six team members at a then-unknown venture firm. Focused on technology startups across NYC and the US East Coast, leading investments and serving on boards of portfolio companies. Now launching Whipsmart Ventures — Series A and larger seed investments in SpaceTech and DeepTech startups.

Published a prediction on the creation of LLMs
Envisioned a future where bots could serve as personal advisors — indistinguishable from the real thing. Wrote about chatting with Stephen Covey, Malcolm Gladwell, and The Dalai Lama, years before large language models made it reality.
4 Startups
It's by being in the weeds of working at a startup that some investors hone their sense of what makes a successful company. I held operational leadership roles at four startups — DoubleVerify (now a public company, NYSE: DV), Figure Eight (formerly CrowdFlower, acquired by Appen for $300M), StrikeAd, and AskMe — heading up engineering, product lines, user experience, and internationalization.
Atlas / aQuantive
Five years at Atlas (AtlasDMT), a division of aQuantive — a big data and analytics company focused on advertising technology. In the weeds during the scaling of aQuantive to a $6.3 billion acquisition by Microsoft. Headed up multiple product lines simultaneously, user experience, and internationalization.
Microsoft
Part of the team that built the first ever version of Visual Studio .NET, C# .NET, and the .NET platform — a world-acclaimed product release used by millions of developers.
Microsoft Research
Focused on developer tools for desktop and embedded software development at Microsoft's research division.
