Drop Loyalty started when Derrick Fung was an Entrepreneur in Residence when I was at White Star Capital. It brings back joyful memories recalling the discussions Derrick and I had as we discussed his entrepreneurial ideas.
Since those discussions, Derrick launched Drop Loyalty, raised VC rounds with NEA, RBC, Sierra Ventures, HOF Capital, and ff Ventures as co-investors, and scaled the business to remarkable heights.
While Drop is best known as a millenial-centric loyalty app, my primary passion with Drop is the B2B business that they are building through the financial data that Drop collects.
I’ve served as both a board member and board observer at Drop. I’m also a loyal user of the app and the Chrome extension, and I of course enjoy the insightful data that they publish.
